Sadly still no rouding corners tool; that's something I really miss in Xara Designer Pro.

Hi Marco, could you give a bit more info on what corners you are trying to round (you can already round the corners of quickshapes and smartshapes), and I'll pass that request on. Thanks, Kate

ah, got it. Yes there's something like this is the wish list already, I've added a link to your post. You're right, not in 16.1 I'm afraid.
