It seems that the height of the calendar cannot be changed above 600px.
That's not correct Robert. You can change the place holder code from Googles default 800px x 600px to any value you want.

So from the iframe code Google supplies (as per the first video) just change the width / height to suit your requirements.

Possibly the simpler way is to change the code to read '...width="100%" height="100%"...' and it fits into whatever size your Placeholder is changed to.

    Great Monday Morning All,

    Mr Bramhill and Mr Acorn,

I am a rather slow learner, but I think I now understand where you gentlemen are coming from. Thank you both for being so clear as you explain this situation. I wil not go back to the task of putting this calendar together so it works for our students. I want to be able to present clear and right-now information to all our students. Thanks to you gentlemen I should now be able to do that. The most important thing though is, you all make is so that I don't feel dumb if I have to return with additional questions and that's very important. Thank you so much for your patience and expert guidance.

    Bob, you are welcome.
How I view the Xara-generated websites is that they are static content.
A Placeholder using an IFRAME is just a window to other content that in itself may be editable. Other Placeholders provide content, styling or actions that Xara on its own cannot.

Dear Mr. Acorn and Mr. Bramhill,

You gentlemen have made it possible for me to actually get the Google Calendar on my webpage and at 600pm width and 850px height which I could have not done on my own. I am now trying to get a grip on placing information on the calendar. This is a slow learning process for me, but as I keep in touch with the calendar I will get more use to working with it. Again, I can't thank you all enough sir.

    Good Wed Evening,

I am still having major problems with the Google Calendar.
    1. On the Google Calendar page with HTML code I've changed the width to 855 and height to 1000 which sees to work out.
    2. I've returned to my Xara calendar web page, drawn a "placeholder" rectangle and selected the Placeholder with above width and height.
    3. I opened up utilities >web properties > placeholder and pasted code into the body and clicked OK.
    4. When I previewed my web page with the calendar, I found the calendar was at the top of the page instead of at the bottom. I don't understand how or what caused the calendar to move from the position where I had drawn the Placeholder rectangle.
    5. I decided to delete the contact page where I wanted the calendar then add a new page for the calendar, but that does not work either. I've been working on trying to get this calendar up and running since Monday and am kind of frustrated. I also noted the months could not be changed on the calendar on my website.
By the way, Mr. Bramhill, I did look at and tried to follow those excellent Videos you provided but to no avail. I am going to continue to work on this. I will delete the contact page and then add replace it. I hope things will work out if I do all the steps with a brand new contact page. Should I go back to Google and try to find another calendar for my website? If so, is there a direct link?

bob, could you provide the link to the Google calendar that you wish to embed.

Failing that the Placeholder code you copied in.
