Steven, we need more than the screenshot.
Is the Heading a part of the same text area?
If not, bring it to the front and repel under.
Assuming the page title is the one under Web Properties > Page title, you can with a bit of code and use of Names.
Create a text area and insert "<Page title>", format to size and colour.
Still in the Text tool, highlight this phrase and Name it (Utilities > Names) 'pagetitle' and 'htmlblocktext'; adding both separately without the quoting.
In the Website > HTML Code (head), add:
AcornCode:<script> document.getElementById("pagetitle").innerHTML = document.title; </script>

Hi Stephen,
Can you send me your .web/.xar project file so we can see what is happening? You can find this file by going to File > Save as within Xara.
Thanks
Rob
I have found that if I copy and paste text from a column of type to which I have applied a custom style, the result is a total dog's breakfast.

Looks like your typical Captcha to me.

Rob & Acorn,
My apologies for just now getting back to this. I did some testing this afternoon and found that the issue presents itself when the font size is changed. If the font size is the same, it works fine. When you change the font size, either direction, if overlaps.
I created a separate text box without an image and duplicated the problem!! I have uploaded the .web file for you to look at.
Also Acorn, thank you for the instruction on inserting the page title automatically. I will try to make that work at some point. I am quite far behind so I need to try to get caught up and get this site published.
Thanks for all your help!!
Steven
I don't get any text overlay when previewing your attached .web file Steven but the text styles seem very confused:
