I am sorry for the confusion. As a non native English speaker (I am Dutch) I translated it to what I know it to be.

We call it an evenementenkalender (events calendar) hence the confusion. It is true that I want it displayed as a list.

As to the patience remark by behzad: whut?

Egg. Thnx for that, looking into it!

Very good, but it doesn't match the design brief and would be rejected by the client.. :-)

Well....I gave it a serious try, but .... the css is not working.

It looks fine in docs, but in drive it's a hot mess and even so when embedded in the website.
shame, it seemed like a good idea.

Your version is great, but you've ignored the padding for the text.

Spitsoor is your client paying you for all this effort to make it user updateable?

I tell my clients up-front that they won't be able to update their sites and for small changes I charge a nominal amount to do the change for them.

If the frequency of the changes is low and the ease of update is simple - which seems to be the case here - why not offer to make the changes for a nominal fee? You will then avoid screw-ups by the client.

Most of my clients have an update plan with me, and that works best for everyone, but some only need small things done and they either don't want to bother me or want the idea of control (which they don't ofcourse, since I'm always cleaning up after them) but hey....
This guy was adamant and we decided to get him the premium cloud membership so he could change only the text. But....the cloud has stopped working for me, it has contracted a lot of nasty bugs, which make working on the site in iXara impossible.
So there I am....in a very tough spot.

You: I have good news and bad news, which would you like to hear first?

Client: I'll take the good news first.

You: I have great news - I've sorted out the self-updateable website page and there'll be no problems going forward.

Client: Excellent! What's the bad news?

You: It only works if you have no more gigs between now and 2020..

Seriously, you could inform your client that you'll be happy to supply a self-updateable solution for $250, or you can make the updates for him for $150.

    Change your figures to suit
