Default Failed to read XAR file

    Hi,

I just opened my software today and received this message. Can some explain to me what this is and how to fix it? I just recently upgraded my software but I had been using it before this message.

    I'm using - Xara Web Designer Premium - 16.0.0.55162

    Here's the error message:

If this happens when you first open Xara it could be because you have deleted/moved a saved file.

Can you open other .xar, .web files, and do you know which file it's balking on?

Check your backups File > Open Recent > Backups You might have a backup if you cannot open the original document.

    Hi Everyone,

I was able to open up a recent backup but do not know why the original file didn't open, It just happened from the last time that I used the file to when I started to use it again.

    Thanks for the help

Occasionally I've come across the same problem when selecting a web/xar file and clicking open (or double-clicking - ?) but found that the file will open if I drag the xar file from an Explorer window to the head part of a Xara window. Go figure!
