    Default Nabble Blog does not fit on mobile variant

    Hi i read the thread about how to put nabble blog into an iframe in xara
    i use pro x 365.

    http://www.autotraildakota.com/blogpage.htm

    i am using autotrailerdakota as a dummy live website to set up a working blog
    for a coffee Bean website hence the name autotrail

    the blog works great on the desktop version but i cannot stretch or reduce the mobile version to fit the screen
    i tried to alter the height and widths in the body placeholder iframe script there is very little in the
    nabble site to see how this can be changed i cannot see even how to login to the nabble site to alter anything?

    I also tried to use the blogger.com blog and that worked really well as i could get it to look great on the desktop site and the mobile version but
    couldn't get the publish replies or comments to stay in the iframe it just redirected to the blog site from blogger
    this was also put into the iframe using insert webpage widget

    I have had trouble with most applications to work in both versions recently had problems with as shopping cart that would only work
    on one version and was not able to change the =Id="" tag for the mobile version.

    most of these applications all seem to be able to work great in wordpress or other editors

    if you look at the product page in my link you will see i have three "add to basket buttons" i wanted to see if this shopping cart would work on both desktop and mobile
    and you can see it actually works using Roman Cart much easier to use i would imagine than Ecwid?

    the problem with the mobile variants is this is in-fact two separate websites which causes all sorts of configuration problems

    has any one been able to put a blog in website that works well on all variants?

    any ideas how to make the nabble actually fit and be readable on the mobile version?
    or any other type of blog that works well across the platforms?
    any help is much appreciated

    src="http://cosmo-coffee.100801.n8.nabble.com/"

    Looks like this now
    <iframe src="http://cosmo-coffee.100801.n8.nabble.com/" width="100%" height="100%" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" name="xara_iframe" ><p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p></iframe>
    also tried it with width as 480 still the same result in attached image

    however the page will not show the blog as it should ?Click image for larger version.

Name:	nabble_screen_shot_mobile.jpg
Views:	82
Size:	53.8 KB
ID:	123114

    tried this code as well
    <iframe name="nabbleiframe" id="nabbleiframe" src="http://cosmo-coffee.100801.n8.nabble.com/" width="300" height="720" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

    same result cannot make that fit the mobile page without it cutting of the edges of widget email box etc

    As far as I can see you need to change the Nabble view form "Blog" to "Standard":

    <subroutine name="view_standard" requires="basic,nabble,servlet">
    <n.apply_app_namespace.view_blog_page />
    </subroutine>

    This is a Nabble configuration. Ken's blog has this and his works at 470px.

    Dear Acorn

    Many thanks for your support much appreciated

    i an completely dum-founded on how to even get back in to nabble to change anything ?

    i can get into their forum and i have seen a page with embed options but cannot find my blog to edit it in any way .

    the options button within my blog does not let me edit anything either it would seem you have to start a new blog everytime you visit the nabble site?

    help!!

    C365, take a step back.

    Look in your emails and you should find two emails: Registration & Link.
    Both will have an address that is of the form http://[YourBlogName].nnnnn.n8.nabble.com, or the like.

    You were asked to Bookmark it. Use this address and hopefully you have the Password as well.
    The login page as a "Forgot your password" option.

    Once you are in, select Options > Application > change application type to someting other than Blog and look at the different views that will now pack down into 470px.

    It might be none suit you so you might have to use NAML to alter the Blog presentation, a thing I have not needed myself.
    I am sure there are Nabble Posts on the subject.

    C365, I have found what you probably need.

    Options > Application > Change appearance to a design page.

    On the top, there is a Preferences button.
    You can centre the Search box and others and change the Page Layout to Narrow.

    Red face Re: Nabble Blog does not fit on mobile variant

    Yes i took a step back thank you you are absolutely right the email link is the way in?
    i managed to get a better look to the blog as suggested in your instructions
    this was the code i was given to insert

    <a id="nabblelink" href="http://cosmo-coffee.101173.n8.nabble.com/">Cosmo Coffee</a>
    <script src="http://cosmo-coffee.101173.n8.nabble.com/embed/f1"></script>

    but i needed to use your widget code to make it work and just swap it for my src url as the above url gave the same "loading" problem

    <iframe name="nabbleiframe" id="nabbleiframe" src="http://cosmo-coffee.101173.n8.nabble.com/" width="100%" height="100%" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

    Many thanks for solving this for me a great help Acorn what a genius you are !!!

    Warm regards
