    on the basis that we are not dealing with a real bird here, or at least one that was but is now stuffed, it might not take that much setting up on the right day, but still quicker and easier to PS it - does it matter? I don't think so... this is so far behind the cutting edge of today's image manipulation possibilities you might argue it was no more cheating if it was than using a camera with auto adjustments etc

    beauty is in the eye of the beholder....

    My guess is photoshopped, as the chances of getting the beak and moon at that exact position are astronomical :/
