Default free upgrade to win 10

Hi folks. I can upgrade free from win 7 to win 10. See link below. But my question is this.
My current system supports 64 bit but right now it has 32 bit win 7 on it.

I was wondering by upgrading do I get the win 10 64 bit ?

    Thanks

    Spamiky is correct.

Editors' note, Nov. 3, 2017: This story was updated to specify that the free upgrade for those seeking assistive technologies will expire Dec. 31. After that, all users will need to pay for the Windows 10 upgrade, which starts at $119.

Then you will be able to answer your own question.

That said, if this was free and has been pointed out the free upgrade from Microsoft has expired, then there may have been someone extra you downloaded and installed. I would run Malwarebytes and maybe Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool just to be on the safe side.

The malicious software removal tool might show a lot of infected files during the scan. Do not panic until the scan is over and you have the definitive report. There are a lot of false positive files that in the end turn out to be OK.

if you're sure that it will work, the procedure has always been that Windows 7 32 bit can only upgrade to windows 10 32-bit. However, once the upgrade is licensed correctly, you can do a completely fresh install of Windows 10 64 bit using the same automatic license key.

If Win 7 was upgraded to Win 10 during the free period and then reverted back to Win 7 you can still go to 10 as an upgrade 32bit > 32bit.
If you do a fresh install of Win 10 (clean drive, no previous version of Windows) you can use your Win 7 or Win 8.1 key and it will activate 32bit > 64bit possible.
