Hi Poidy, best method would be to create your rectangle at the required dimensions via the rectangle tool then once created use the rotation handles to rotate it (or type in the required rotation angle in the Angle of Selection text window).

..Unless you mean to achieve the attached result; in which case, click on the rectancle to show the rotation handles and select any of the 4 central double-headed arrows and drag to a suitable distance.

What graphics/drawing software are you using Poidy? You have not indicated any in your profile and it is hard to be more specific unless we know that.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Probably correct Bob but a rectangle is:

    Rectangle
    noun: rectangle; plural noun: rectangles

    • a plane figure with four straight sides and four right angles, especially one with unequal adjacent sides, in contrast to a square.

Your's in my opinion is a rectangle that's been skewed

Don't you just love TGers, who rise to any challenge, regardless of the poor etiquette of an OP?

It is possible to draw a rectangle at any angle using the Shape Tool, noting the length and angle of each straight line with the ability to juggle adding and subtracting 90 degrees at each turn, entering the right line length.

You would be mad to do so. I am mad and I just did. QED!
