Came across my first customer with a 28" 3840 x 2160 screen today. Yes, that res is primarily for gaming and you need a magnifying glass to see the Windows desktop without zooming to 150%, but it got me wondering. Should we be making site variants to fit 4k and/or twin screen setups? That got me thinking about common screen sizes in general.

I usually go for 1080 and 480. However, I feel 1440 or 1680 would be nice for some designs, dropping down to 1080 as the first variant and 480 for mobiles (480 seems really small now I've typed it out). Is there some form of scale for break points on variants?
