    Well then for whatever reason the standard mailto: link is not working as expected? Acorn, Siran, Rob, what is going on here?

    The same result. This has been discussed before. The 'mailto....' link only works if you have an email client and not webmail. This is not Xara-related.

    Nothing.

    If you have an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) then if the browser knows to use it then your email link open a new message to you.
    Your browser needs to be told what handler to use. This is hidden in the browser Settings.

    Webmail handlers, necessarily, need to have you already signed into the account (Gmail, etc).

    i would search the web for"browser email handler".

    Thanks Acorn. Will do.

    OK. Most of these search results deal with setting the default in the user's browser.

    This is why I have linked to the actual email address instead of using a linked Send email.
