Question Fun with Triangles - SSS - a Walk in the Park

This Challenge should be very easy for those who have been following the Triangle Challenges.

Using Xara, construct a triangle of sides 200px, 400px and 400px, in the simplest way possible without calculation.

In your answer, advise the perimeter of your triangle, using Xara's P reading.

    Marco, a good approach.

I did, however, put a slight cheat into the question by making the required triangle isosceles; two sides with the same length.

I made so with one constructor circle.

Answer later to allow others to beat us both.

Info Re: Fun with Triangles - SSS - a Walk in the Park

As it is a quiet Sunday, my solution is as follows:

    1. Draw a Red 100 x 400px rectangle.
    2. Centre a Green circle with radius matching the width of the rectangle.
    3. Intersect both.
    4. Delete the top rightmost node.
    5. Clone Red triangle and flip along its base.
    6. Combine Add both triangles.

If you want an edge to be horizontal, Ctrl-rotate to the snap point.

After my Step 4, instead of cloning, you could simply increase the 100px to 200px using the Shape tool control box:

    5. Select the bottom left node and change its length (L) to 200px.
