JUST RELEASED: A New Version of Xara Photo & Graphic Designer

Magix only sell the 64 bit versions. Version 15 comes with options to install a 32 or 64 bit program. Version 15 is now only available by buying from other sellers such as Amazon or Ebay. I have just obtained Version 15 by download. The seller couldn't tell me what version it was so he gave it to me providing I report back to him after I have installed it. The download of Xara Web Design Premium version 15.0.0.52288 from November 2017 (107MB) also came with Magix Music Maker (862.26MB) which I installed for review purposes then uninstalled as it is of no use to me.

Any new version scheduled for this software or had Xara given up its development ?

Just installed PGD v16 and all went ok, but did have following error message (what thumbnails, I wonder?):



Also, when installation had completed, the dialogue box had confusing button, "Let's get started". I was expecting PGD to open up when I pressed it, so I waited and waited but it didn't! (That's a another few valuable moments of my life gone forever)

So it looks like my 32 but plugins will not work with 16 even though I have a 64 bit machine. Bummer!

Larry it might be a specific issue with particular 32bit plugins. Things seem to running ok my end with some old 32bit Flaming Pear plugins.

Thanks, I have an older version of filter forge which is 32 bit, and, don't really want to spend the money on a 64 bit version, that's all. Guess I should install 16 and see what works. Most of my plugins are 32 bit. MAGIX solved my problem and sent me a download link for 16 so guess I'll try.

Thanks Jono, I installed 16 and all my plugins work, don't use them much but I am pleased that they do work.

I have played around with v16 some and I noticed that unlocking the page size I cannot pull the right and bottom with the mouse to change the pasteboard size which is what I like to do. Is this a change from previous versions?
