JUST RELEASED: A New Version of Xara Web Designer

Good day,

So I'm a bit confused. I own Xara Designer Pro X 15.1.0.53605 DL x 64 May 3 2018. Based on the link above Designer Pro did not receive an update--only Xara Web Designer and Web Designer Premium. Is that correct, and if so when will Designer Pro be updated?

An update only alerts within the major version number. Xara know this and glibly announce a new version is available in their site and in boards like these. This totally isolates those Customers who don't go looking and expect the courtesy of some notification.

Xara needs to knuckle down to the EU's GDPR (or equivalence) and use the purchase email to inform Customers.
I am sure it is wiffle-waffle between Xara and Magix as to who is responsible.

The confusion is not yours, it is theirs.

P.S. XDPX technically came out first this time though the launches were very ragged.

NOTE: TO update to 16.0 you will need to re-download Designer Pro, as there is no auto-update.

Kate Moir, Xara - sorry for bad English.

So far, I have not found the 15.1 (Humble Bundle) upgrade version 16 version. The full version was written in HB's offer. Here it is written that it is possible to upgrade but it is for 129, - euro which I do not like. Please give a clear answer, as it is from Upgrade Pro 15.1 to a newer version. Thank you.

Deltapete - Yes, but I still do not. The upgrade is for 129, -Euro. Which I do not like.

Hi Spamiky - you can upgrade your Humble Bundle Designer Pro to the new v16 but yes the upgrade price is €129 inc VAT, if you are in a EURO country. That is the upgrade price from all older versions without an Update Service, and also the price for renewing an expired Update Service. In other words there is not a special upgrade price for Humble Bundle owners.
