Default One Mobile Variant page has a ghost ??

Using Xara Web Designer Premium 12

ONE PAGE OF THE MOBILE VARIANT HAS A GHOST, but only on the desktop in the program. It does not show on the webpage when converted to html.

For the life of me I don't know where it came from and when I try deleting the "ghost writing" it deletes the good stuff as well.

I attached a screenshot. It's only one page. The normal variant of the page looks "normal", It's just the mobile version of that page.
    It's also recent.

I did notice around a week ago that the positioning of the normal variant and the mobile variant switched sides in the workspace. The normal switched to the left side and the mobile on the right. Then a day later it switched back. Mobile left and normal right (as it always has been). Could that have something to do with it?

On mobile variants though this might have been fixed, having objects on the pasteboard could cause the page not to center properly on the page.

If this phantom text is not appearing on the published page then I would not worry about it. But I am also incurious. Maybe Egg or Acorn will be more curious.

Select the 'ghost' text and see what description is given in the information bar at the bottom left of your program window. If it's part of a group or softgroup, this would explain why it messes up other parts of your site when you delete it. In that case, click the 'Locate' button in the Page & Layer gallery so that you know what is connected to it and you can figure out what to do.

Gary the reason why I have been bitching for the screen not centring has nothing to do with off elements. Xara has acknowledged the issue and supposedly working on a fix. I am out of luck now because I am on a 32 bit system and they do not support that on v16. I doubt if they will ever fix the issue that I reported.

I selected the 'ghost' text and the information bar says, "1 text column(736 characters, 154 words) on layer MouseOff" and then instructions "Click select, etc" , but I don't know what a "softgroup" is. [In the Arrange menu there is an option to "Apply Soft Group" that is highlighted and the item "Remove Soft Group" is greyed out, so I assume there is NOT a soft group.

In the Page & Layer gallery there is no 'Locate' button. There are only New Page, Duplicate, Delete, and Help.

Follow up: OK, this was easy. I clicked on that entire column so ALL of it was selected and pressed Delete and now it's gone. It "gave up the ghost".

    Thanks for all the responses.
