Hi ,

just wandering if it is possible to have a different url to that of the navigation button. e,g in wordpress you can edit the url to contain key words e.g www.yourdomain/bikehireaustralia.com but the navigation button may only say " Bike Hire " . Is this possible in xara? Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance.

Yes. You can link the buttons to pages in the site or to other pages or layers documents (such as PDF) or videos.

Bindi, any shape, text or custom button or NavBar can have a variety of links and actions associated with it.

In a web design page, when you select any of the above, you can then examine its (Utilities >) Web Properties to build up almost any type of URL.
Further animation effects are possible with the Web Animation dialog.

Bindi - Are you referring to what shows in the URL box at the top of the page? This came up recently.

So instead of mysite.com/about-us.html it would show mysite.com/about-us

Is this what you are talking about.

Hi gwpriester, sorry about the late response. What I am wandering is if the website URL was for example www.yourdomain/bike hireaustralia.com could you have the link on the navigation menu say “ bike hire “ whilst retaining the full URL - have been told keywords in the URL help with seo.
