Text to Curves/Shape?

Is there anyway of converting text to curves or shape?
I was a great feature in Serif, cant seem to find it in webdesigner.

hami, welcome to your first Thread in TalkGraphics.

Xara, in its infinite wisdom, removed the simple "Convert to Editable Shapes" selection, just for Web Designer users.
To get round this, I use Arrange > Combine Shapes > Add Shapes. You then have to Ungroup the selection twice to achieve what is a one-clicker in Xara Designer Pro.

I am sure that there are other tricks at hand.

Tried it. Works to a fashion, cant seem to select individual letters

Then perhaps - Clone the text, select both and then Combine Shapes > Intersect Shapes and Ungroup twice.

The first method, you can use the Shape Tool and click-drag across an individual letter.

Told you there are lots of ways.
