Closing Threads ...

It seems that suddenly, threads are getting arbitrarily closed for no apparent reason ... I was following a discussion (a very civil discussion as far as I could see), on the TROUBLE WITH TWO-COLOUR FILL thread, and was hoping that Gary could teach "US" how to add profiles to multi-coloured fills, when suddenly it says CLOSED THREAD. I understand closing threads when a topic gets out of hand, but have no clue from the tone of the conversation why this one was. Not only that, I was about to learn something NEW, which was, as I understand it, the whole point of the forum in the first place.

Can someone explain why that particular thread was closed?

I suspect the thread was closed by accident. (The answer to your question is if you alter a liner fill to make it a Rainbow or an Alt Rainbow fill, then technically you have a multi-color fill and can apply profiles.

thanks for the explanation Gary - be a good idea to put it in the other thread I think, otherwise it's left hanging - and if I ever knew that I'd forgotten but I see the logic of it now
