    Default Mask Tool

Not sure what I've done or turned off etc. but the mask tool used to draw a pink mask as I drew. Now for some unknown reason it only draws the outline, and only colours it pink as I release the mouse button. It's somehow very disconcerting.

Any idea how I can get it back?

Well ... That's a new one on me!

It certainly looks like that's the culprit ... I'll check it when I get home. I suspected something like that, but looked through all the menu's and options, but couldn't find anything. I've been using Xara for around 20 years and NEVER knew that that did that!

    Thanks Steve.

even when you do know about it, it's an easy thing to overlook/forget; just so happens there was a thread not so long ago [think it was PhilM who came up with the answer that time round...]

    Steve,

It was the LIVE DRAGGING that was the culprit. Not sure how I turned it off ... anyway, it's now fixed and all's well in the world!

    Thank you again.
