    Default Stretchy Slideshow?

I have Web Designer Premium 12.

Is it possible to have a slideshow that will stretch to fill the screen? I've tried several different methods, but none seem to work.

I of course can have a single image that will work fine, but I'd like a slideshow that will show multiple images.

    Thanks!

There are many ways to create such a slideshow. Here is a simple example using the jquery backstretch plugin.
    See online HERE.

This example uses placeholders with attachments, but there are other ways to bring the slideshow images to your website.
It would not be very complicated to create a widget from this example I think.

Thanks Siran! For someone like me... that seems a little bit complicated. I was hoping for a widgit that was already within Web Designer - simple drag and drop. Is there anything in Web Designer than will allow an image (w/slideshow) resize to fit the entire background?

I don't think there is an out of the box solution.
Just finished a backstretch widget, maybe that meets your requirement. It doesn't provide very many customization options though.
To use it, download the file, drag to your document and double click to set options and replace images.
It doesn't matter where on your page you place the widget, it just has to be on a visible layer and not off the page borders. The placeholder removes itself after loading.
You should have only one of these widgets per page, not one per variant.

Siran... it looks like you just did create an "out of the box solution."

Thank you VERY much - this works perfectly AND is very easy to use.

    Again.... THANK YOU!

In case you downloaded widget_backstretch_v1.xar you got a widget that doesn't work on its own. You need to drag it to an existing web document.
