Making text change when moused over?

Hello,

I'm trying to include a little easter egg in one of my sites where, if you mouse over a certain piece of text on the page, it changes to something different until the user mouses off of it.

I'm thinking using popups may be a decent way to do this, but I'm not really sure how to start. Could I just make the text disappear when moused over to reveal the alternate text underneath? If so, how do I go about that?
