I think it would depend on how close/far away the light source is AND what is casting the light, i.e. a window or a lamp. How intense is the light?

You raise some good points Ron. Still I hold by my previous statement.

    Default Low-poly chick

Just more practice making stuff "Minimalist", low polygon-style.

I did cheat a little, and ran an upside-down copy of the chick through a Wave filter, to get a good distortion effect.

OK Ron, I'll amend my other statement about shadows, The Darkest would be where the legs of the table touch the floor after that I believe they would stay relatively sharp and get lighter but not much ,and more blurred, the further away from the casting object they get. I do not believe the light source would have much to do with it although it might. Careful observation would be in order. It would also depend on how close the casting object is to the surface being cast on.
Ah well, so much to ponder.

I'm curious about the wave filter Gare. What is it and is it part of Xara?

Sorry Gare, I should have been more specific, I was wondering about the faceted bird not the reflection.
