Snap to Objects option in the Window Tab is no longer working

The "Snap to Objects" option in the Window Tab no longer working on my Xara 365 pro.

This was weirdest thing so far. Does anyone know what to do about that? I really wasn't looking forward to uninstalling and installing it again.

Try the * in the numeric keyboard.

Also check your Snap to settings in the Mouse section of page options.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried the star. All it does is toggle the snap. All of that works. The snap to objects option also toggles when clicking it in the window tab.

What Im saying is that the actual functionality is not happening when the Snap to objects option is chosen.

Do you think I have to re-install?

Before reinstalling/repairing I would try Restarting the the App, if problem still persists Restarting Windows. Also try with a new or different document and maybe turn the grid off and on, and as mentioned, check snapping related settings etc

Hello, I tried everyones fixes. Thanks guys for the responses but nothing really worked. I noticed that I couldnt drag pages to be larger either with the correct setting in place.

So I re-installed the program. It all works now.

Hey Jonopen, My thoughts exactly. It was really weird. I didn't want to have to re-install. But I saved any Templates I made and dropped em in the template folder and everythings fine.

Maybe someone will know why those weird problems occurred.

Locking the Barn Door After the Horse Has Been Stolen DEPT:

Always try Run as Administrator (right click on the program icon with the program closed). Just need to try this once and it either works or not.
Or last ditch before reinstalling: go to Window > Control Bars and press Reset. This resets all the settings to their original settings. This will lose any custom settings or custom toolbars.

I've got the same problem at the moment. Snapping just stopped working and I can't drag the page to be bigger or smaller when the "Lock Page Size" is turned off.
I'm outside of the Update Service, so reinstalling to fix this will just give me other problems.
