Can anyone recommend a good online graphics design course? I have no art background. I want to learn using Xara and a publishing software for the publications of my new organization.

unfortunately I don't have any ideas for online design courses, but I think someone else will jump in here and give you some information about online design courses.
In the meantime you should check XARAZONE for online and downloadable tutorials - the ultimate resource to master XARA X. Check the artists of the month section, and visit the Xara X gallery here.

This is the only Xara course I know of, but as Jens mentioned don't miss the XaraXone and this forum as source of info.
