No grass grows under your mouse Mike. Good job.
For anyone who is wondering which tutorial Mike just blasted though, Alexander B. Bozhenov's Guest Tutorial #23.

This thread is over six years old and it was feeling really neglected. I figured it was time to dust it off and breathe new life into it.
Of course, the tutorials on The Xara Xone's totally ROCK! and Guest Tutorial #23 - Creating a Siemens C45 Mobile Phone by Alex Bozhenov is no exception. It amazes me that so many of these great tutorials seem to go unused. Or maybe a lot of people give them a try and never finish them while the few that do finish aren't willing to post their results.
Well, here are the results of my effort. I took a few liberties with the instructions along the way, then decided to incorporate the phone into a small poster after I completed it.
Enjoy,
HayTay
P.S. - The link by posted by Gary Priester in the previous post is no longer correct. Anyone wanting to create their own Siemen's C45 Mobile Phone can access the tutorial by clicking on the new link included in this post.

Both are excellent! I'm still working on Gary's stereogram but this will go on my list 'todo'.

Thanks, Nancy.
This is a cool tutorial because it hits the major steps but leaves the little stuff for you to use your creativity and do with as you please. Half of the fun for this one was creating the little icons that went on the buttons. I was originally going to skip them but later decided to go ahead and make 'em. I'm glad I did as they turned out rather good. Oh, and I used the new XXP5 multi-stop transparency feature to add the highlights on the two buttons located beneath the display. That's the first time I used that feature, although, it probably won't be the last.
Thanks for the comments and good luck with Gary's stereogram tutorial.
Thank you, Harry!

You're welcome, Alex.
It makes you wonder how many other tips, tricks, tid-bits and tutorials are waiting to be rediscovered here on TalkGraphics and The Xara Xone.
It appears that Nancy is thinking about taking a whack at the mobile phone tut. Are there any other out there up to the challenge?
Just an aside, this thread has had more hits in less than 3 days than it's had in the previous 6+ years.
