Default Force Xara new document to keep my pasted color names sorted. Possible?

    Hi,

    I would appreciate help.

As shown in this screencast (http://bit.ly/2NsI6E7), I'm pasting in a new document a color pallet shape with names sorted in the source. However, the pasted colors in "colour gallery" of the new document are messed up.

Is it possible to force Xara new document to keep my pasted color names sorted same as source?

I've attached the document with the color pallet and sorted names.

    Thanks for assistance,
    Carlos

I always include a small group of my named colors in my default page template and they automatically appear on my new pages.

Gary, do they keep the original Names gallery order the OP needs?

I believe they do. The custom named colors load first then the standard Xara palette.

@Egg, has the colour bar not been switched around?

I don't believe so Acorn. The colour bar scroll might not be at the absolute left but scrolling back to the left, they still appear to be the same ???

Egg, thank you. from the short video I saw a difference (the scroll placement) so I had to ask.

    Thank you for checking,

Thanks all for the replies! Thanks for the tutorial Egg!

Actually, I couldn't understand yet how to keep colors sorted in gallery when transferring a color palette from one document to other.

Egg, in your tutorial I could see that although the colors were grouped together (greens with greens, blues with blues, etc), the order of the groups is different when you opened the same template in your computer (image below).

    Cheers,
    Carlos

Hi Carlos, I'll have a look at this tomorrow and let you know. (After the World Cup football obviously)
