Locate backup website

Hi, I built and saved my website on my desktop. I uploaded it to my server and now need to make changes to the content but my desktop is in storage. Can I edit my website from my laptop that has xara installed on it.

Not really. You need the .web file to be able to edit your site. What you can do is import the web pages one by one (File/Import from web address...) but this will only give you the various graphic and text elements without the links and navigation. In essence, you would have to rebuild your sit.

Xara Cloud can do some editing but you still need to have saved your xar/web file to a cloud server like Dropbox/Google Drive etc. i.e you can't edit the html file. If you've already done that you're better off opening the xar/web file in Xara on your desktop or laptop. Really it's a matter of having at least two files as back-ups. We all fail at this. Remember you can also save your xar/web file to your hosting server too.
