Yeah, a bit because nowadays you don't see that too often. Way back, relatives of mine had a black Rover with chauffeur, all dressed up, and I found it quite intriguing.

It is R means reverse, this type of set-up can be seen on a manual transmission car. Did I get it right?

Rik, you even gave us a clue by using a font similar to the one used on gear knobs, and I still didn't get it until Frank posted "R" you serious ...
