    Thank you Ross, that's great! I have a little guilloche enamel box inherited from my grandmother, I was always fascinated by the pattern.

    Gulloche is not only a simple cross-blend but also requires creativity. For Adobe Illustrator there are a few plugins that can generate patterns. In Xara I do everything by hand.

    Significantly cool work here. While I don't particularly (personal taste comment following) like the style itself, the detail of the work itself is still worthy of me just looking at the details and enjoying the patterns and intricacies. Your rendition here is superb, as is the original. I know the 'tricks' to make it easier in Xara, but my brain, when just looking at it, goes, 'WOW!' regardless of the fact I know it's just clever use of the blend tool. Super awesome.
