You guys have it wrong. Clearly it is a Ninja throwing weapon. Seriously deadly even when made of gold. I suppose it could do double duty when the Ninja wants to play a 45RPM record. That way if someone criticises the music selection the Ninja can quickly dispatch deadly force. The guy who dislikes the Beatles' single Please Please Me won't even see death come knocking. (Advice - don't criticise anything a Ninja does or you won't live long enough to reconsider).
