New Versions of Designer Pro, Web Designer & Photo & Graphic Designer ???

There is an announcement by Kate Moir that there is a latest version of Xara:

I've tried to auto-update via Help/ Check for Updates and I'm informed my copy is the latest version ???
My version is:
Xara Designer Pro X 15.1.0.53605 DL x64 May 3 2018

I think she posted the update post it in graphics chat rather than the announcements channel. There hasn't been any new patch since 15.1.

Because Kate was late in posting the announcement in Announcements. I was going to wait until the trial downloads were available, then forgot.

@Rob: do you know of the latest versions solves my issue with v12 .xar files (not loading in v15).

Hi Fred, if you wish to attach a xar file you're having problems loading previously, I and others using the latest v15 would be happy to test it & returnn the results.

Not for me I'm afraid Fred.

I think it has a problem with old .xar files that have a combination of:

- graphics on the pasteboard
- fonts that are no longer on the system
- plugins or FX that are no longer on the system

I came across a few files that did this the other day. Ill also try and find one I can share.

Side note: I didn't particularly want to update, but I wasn't paying attention when installing the trial version and overwrote my previous version (v15.0). When I then ran the new trial version, it said it had expired!!! (even though I had the two green ticks for serial number and email address). I thought oh well, I'll just live with version 12, but that is now knackered and wont run.

As I was in a rush to finish something my quickest course of action was to do the upgrade. After buying the update, the very next time I ran trial version it just opened normally, ie I didn't have to register it! Of course I've had to go through the pain setting up all the interface buttons again. Oh well, it's done for another 12 months. I shall be keeping a very watchful eye to see what I get for my hard earned over the coming months.

Jono, are you saying you cannot run or download and run v12 now? It should be possible as v15 was just an "upgrade".
Go to the bother of raising a ticket with Magix and ask how to do it.
