This was made with the Metropolitaines Font from Corel, and with the Cutting Edge plug-in in Photopaint9.

Hi Erick this is a really nice effects,
i have Cutting Edge plug-in for PP9, but didn't notice this one, did you just apply it to a text object or you did some modification to it?,
Please what is the name of the effect?

The background was done in CHROMED, and the text in ORNAMENTAL. I adapted both separately with CTRL+T (curves).

This is only an example. normally I wouldn't saturate the colours that much.

CEFX comes with a short manual. You can read that in less than an hour, trying everything out, and you'll get some really "wow" effects. You can apply the effects to 1/text, 2/the current object (...make an object of the background, or select) 3/ a copy of the object.

    Another Photopaint/Cutting Edge image:

The text was done with Cutting Edge and Crtl+T adapted, the background with FANCY>JULIA SET EXPLORER (from Kai's Powertools2) and the STITCH command.

because you added a letter to my name.

In French and English it is Eric. In Scandinavia it is Erik, and in the Celtic world it is (was) Erick. Most of my friends from France write Erick, so never mind. Glad I could be of any help to you.

I don't know how to find this plugin - I have CorelPaint 8, 9, and 10 and I don't find it in any of them. I also seem to have misplaced my Julia Set Explorer (which I loved)when I installed 10. Do I need to reinstall from the disks. I am not very good with managing computers.

    Thank you,
    Carol Y.
