    Default Drop Cap for Print

Hello experts. Having a blank moment. Do we still have to make drop caps by highlighting the number of lines, and then splitting the paragraph etc etc or is there some tool in Xara I've not yet found.

    Merci beauc.

I can't even remember if there is a way to a drop cap and if so how. Might be covered in the Help file.

You can create a larger capital letter separate from the text and use Repel Text and embed the cap in the text.

I could swear there is but I can't find it.... So, I must be wrong. You could also use an 'anchored graphic' for a drop cap. Take a look in the Help file.

Boy - I seem to remember this in more recent releases but for the life of me I cannot remember anything about it.

Your question I don't fully understand because as far as I know we never had to do that, at least I never did. What I did was find a font with a letter I liked and perhaps break it and color the various parts to my liking, maybe even delete parts or change parts. The last one was the most complex.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
