    Default Delete Added Pages

When I create a fairly long page it then creates an additional page, when I try to delete the additional page it says there is text on this page, which does not show. When I say delete selected areas it creates an additional page, back to square one. The previous page has no indication that text has run over to next page. Any help please. Terry

Terry, you might see if backspacing rather than deleting helps.
It may not but worth a shot.

You are talking about a web page vs a printed page right?

Sounds link you have selected the option for all pages the same size. Disable this feature. (Page Options > Page Size > All pages in document same size.

Apologies delay have been out. The width is set but the "All pages in website the same size" remains unchecked. The page that I cannot delete has a green outline box which when I try to delete ask me to choose, and I select "selected only", see attached. This is when it makes a new page.

When you say try the "backspace" when and how should I try thatClick image for larger version.

Is the text linked to another text area?

Also on Page Options > General is the setting for Web Document?

Hi No there isn't text linked, in fact no text is on the page except for text frames, green boxes.
The settings I have are shown on attached, are they correct?

    Setting look good.

Try this. Right click on the page and select Copy Page.

Open a new Web document and Edit > Paste > Paste Page. Does this problem exist on this pasted page?

And if yes, can you save that page and post it here so we can have a look?

When I create a fairly long page it then creates an additional page ...
How are you creating this page/s Tel, documents or web pages?

It's far easier to answer these problems if you share your web/xar file than have us responding blindly
