Exclamation Scripth error on Content Catalogue

I'm not sure when it started but lately I have not been able to connect to the content Catalogue, I get the following error (image attached), it makes no difference which button I press.
If I click with the right mouse button and copy the url, and enter it on my browser, I can enter the site, but the connection to the software is lost by doing that.

I have had this whenever the Xara servers are occupied or down.
It is good to know you checked access by using the URL. I have had not problems with all my accesses yesterday and today.

    Is it still failing you?

Unhappy Re: Scripth error on Content Catalogue

Yes, still getting the same error.

Tried updating Firefox, did not help.
Bought Xara Pro X, and installed it, but the same error here.
If I try to visit the site directly in Firefox it works, but not in the window opened by the software.
I really need to get this working. "Desperate help!"

I applaud your patience but go straight to the Magix Help Centre for assistance.

    Will do.
I had uninstalled IE earlier, maybe last year, so I will try to reinstall it, to see if it helps.

    Edit: ... it helped :/

uninstalling IE was likely the/an issue - the program uses it 'under the hood'

Unfortunately, Xara relies on Internet Explorer for its webbie bits even if you have another as your default.

    Glad you found it.

it's not the only program to need IE to work properly... removing windows components requires an holistic approach...
