Is Xara Designer Pro X15 "4K ready"?

Over 1 year has passed. Any news on this? Have Xara released a 4K compatible version of Xara Designer Pro?

No. I have no indication if they will or will not add support. So I will hold off ordering a 4K monitor for now.

I've not had a problem: Dell XPS 7760 AIO 27in, 3840x2160, Windows 10 Build 18362.295, Mag 150%. Xara v16.2.1.57326; scaled at 200% too, but for me 150% is great. Had v15 before and not an issue either.

That's good to know. But how about the buttons? Can you post a screen shot?

Hi Gary,

The screenshot does not really do it justice, because you have to visualise these images at 12 inches high by 24 inches wide, but a mag of 150% works for me, 175% also, and it scales to 200% or more. The buttons and screen do correctly scale (at least on my device). However, with 4K, anything less than a 26in screen does not enhance the experience.

So, in proportion to a 1K display, the buttons are about 1/4 size?

That is probably true, but having worked at 1920 x 1080 or less, I'm sold on 4K @ 27in or even larger.

my cintiq pro 24 is 4k but i prefer to drop it to 2k - it is also then in sync with the other monitor on extended display
