So I don't have this web ready yet. But this is my design for the home page of my portfolio site.

Can I be honest? It doesn't tick any boxes for me. What's it supposed to represent?

@Egg Bramhill I live in Central Virginia. The picture is intended to reference this mountainous region in an abstract way. Additionally, the white M is to remind people of my name in addition to the mountains. My goal is minimalistic modern design.
Do you have any suggestions?

Actually, that's why I think it's quite good. The design clearly shows that there's quality involved but what does is represent? I would definitely click some of the buttons to find out.

I like it. Obviously it's your portfolio representing your work and style. I like the letter spacing of the menu. That's the fun part out of the way, now you have to build the rest of the site!
