The reason why all my bases have a brighter left side, than the right side, is that you have a bright reflection on the left of the glass part of your lightbulb.
So, in my opinion, the reflection on your base (being central) doesn't quite work for me.

It was staring at me but I missed that I'd put the light coming from the left so your absolutely right Rik, thank you for shaking these old eyes up, will adjust that fill according to the light
