If any members don't remember me from the old days perhaps you can get to know me better from some of my images. To my TalkGraphics profile I've added a few albums. They contain my better (old) stuff + a few newer (less good) images. I had fun creating them and I hope that shows.

Thanks for sharing these Ross. Strange how many I remember.

Having looked through the albums could I say how much I enjoyed you freehand drawings, the houses etc but my favourites are your Nova Scotia harbour scenes. The house freehand drawings reflect your training as an architect (not to any detriment!) but your harbour scenes have a freedom of drawing that I can only envy.

When I lived in Nova Scotia my work was specialized in Criminal Justice projects. That meant court houses, police stations, and jails. When I moved to >> Prince Edward Island << that pretty much stopped. I did do a small addition to our local jail to accommodate offenders with intermittent sentences - i.e. folks required to spend their weekends in jail. PEI is Canada's smallest province and not very urban. The projects I worked on here were more varied than earlier in my career. My last project was a new daycare-thru-grade-12 francophone school. Prior to that it was a restaurant, culinary school, and group home for mentally-disabled adults.

Egg, the harbour sketches were true sketches which explains the looser style. The houses you mention were more illustrations than sketches as they used photographic references. The harbour ones are from Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia -- a tiny fishing village where my mother-in-law grew up.
