Working with SVG Format
First, I should mention I'm more of a novice/casual user of Xara Photo & Graphic Designer (v.15), not a pro.
I have a guy putting together a simple website for me. He told me he'd like to have the logo and icon graphics I supplied him with in SVG format if possible. I'd never worked with SVG before and thought it may be a simple matter of exporting the graphics in that format. When I went to do that, an export settings box came up. I wasn't sure what those should be so just stuck with the default (see attached screenshot). However, when I sent the resulting graphics to him, he said he couldn't get any of them to work. He said, from what he could tell, it saved the images as bitmaps inside SVGs instead of actual vectors.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I tried to search for SVG, but nothing came up. What should the export settings be set at? Is there something else I should be doing to export the icons/graphics into SVG format?
