    Default 3D Stereogram

    Probably made by GWP.
Well, I'm guessing that it is!

This is one of the clearest stereograms I've seen for a long time.

What is really clever is that the front part of the object is transparent and you can see through to the back part.
This makes it a really enjoyable thing to see - if you can!

Definitely Gary's Rick, it says so along the top of the stereogram But I agree it's a great one.

    Oh!
I saw the writing at the bottom, but, just didn't look at the top.

One of my favorites too. We did a Yin & Yang week since we have these coming out of our... computers.

I used the Photo Tool > Select Color to Edit to drop out the black portion of the overlay to create the transparency. Gene and I have been making these for over 20 years and I am still learning.

The attached used the same technique.

Wow, Gary, they're both gorgeous and delightful to look at for a longer time than just, "Oh, nice, I can see what it is!"

We post a new stereogram every day and most of those are new, a few old ones. If you do not follow us, please do. https://www.facebook.com/Eyetricks3DStereograms/

I can see the back clearly in post #1 Gary but the one in #4 is so relaxing to look at, I love it.

    Brilliant Gary, Brilliant.

    Both of those are excellent.

What program do you use to create them?

I create/build the depth images and the repeating patterns in Xara, then use Stereographic Suite to create the stereograms. In the case of the two images here, I brought the stereograms back into Xara to create the transparent overlays which were different stereograms.

The developer of Stereographic Suite is a Russian programmer who has used input from Gene Levine, my stereogram partner, and me to fine tune the features to the way we work. Sadly, the developer hoped this would be his road to retirement but there just are not enough stereogram artists to make the program profitable.
