    Default GDPR

I need to ask really basic questions related to the new rules.

    1. Does a Xara site without analytics generate cookies? If so, are there any privacy issues and should my sites display the usual cookie warning?

    2. My sites do have Google Analytics code. In this case what adjustments do I need to the settings to comply with the new rules?

Hoping that someone will be willing to share.

Hi Theo, generally Xara doesn't create cookies. However Google Analytics does use third party requests.

You can advise you do not use Cookies but do use a third party whose privacy policy you can then link to.
