Didn't want to start another thread.
And I'm using the same scribble, anyway!

Also, this should help explain to everyone, where your stuff goes, when you put it in the 'cloud'.

Nice, other than the green LED should be red, just for the Luddites.

    That's interesting, Acorn.
    Why should it be 'red'?
    Please explain.

I would have thought that green indicates that it's ready and it would be 'red' when writing to it?!

Red for "Stop" instead of green for "Go"? Is that what you mean Acorn?

It is more obscure than that. Keith Laumer, SF author, invented the Bolo tank with an unwilling transplanted entity's brain. Bolo technology has a red light (button) to show it is quiescent and when pressed active functions appear with a green light button and possibly more red lights to provide a self-defining user interface. I first read it nearly 50 years ago and I was looking forward to such a paradigm in the Cloud.

    Complicated,

Thanks for the heads-up, Acorn. After such a grim story, I'd better pull my head out of the clouds!
