Stygg, I have an Acorn RiscPC that has never crashes in 15 years and it has no AV protection either.

I think an "it" is missing in your monologue.

    Cheers,
    Acorn

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

    Love it Stygg,

Reminds me of a friend who uses a computer that must be at least that old if not older. It only has a floppy drive, not DVD drive and no USB and definitely no internet connection. He uses it to cut vinyl signs on a Roland cutter. He also has a very ancient copy of Xara on it which he uses for files for the cutter, which work fine.

Occasionally he asks me to do a complicated design. I give it to him on a usb drive and he must then have another friend who can put it on a floppy for him....

However he has a quietly successful business and uses it every day (unlike your character). Go figure!

Your correct Acorn, I don't think I've changed my spectacles in 10 years, me thinks they definitely need changing besides one should have regular eye tests as my wife keeps on telling me and telling me.......

Yes Stygg you should, ya might not realize you have a problem otherwise.
I know I didn't but now it is an advanced problem requiring frequent visits to the eye doctor and 2 kinds of drops.
