Is Xara changing their Logo?

Saw this on their Facebook page.

If they are going for a new Logo, then what is the purpose for the gap in the 'x'?

Anyone got any ideas or thoughts or information?

Mike, what's the font they used? It looks like the only modification is knocking out part of the X.

Looks like they are diversifying. The top half of the X looks like a squee-gee for window cleaning and the bottom half looks like they missed a bit. Looks pretty ordinary - corporate, even.
Not what one would want if one were in the graphics software business, for example.

lol - my guess is to simply bring attention to the X and the spelling of the brand name.
