I received a sad message on Facebook from John's (Zaphodeist) cousin, Christine that John died over the past weekend. John was very private and although we never communicated directly, he posted frequently on TG and we always "Liked" each other's posts on Facebook. I will post more details as they become available.

May John's memory be a blessing.

counted john a friend since the days of the 'spinning football logo' - we shared a love of hitch hiker's guide [as you might guess from his username]- only a couple of months since we last communicated; I knew he was not well

John was for years one of the experts here and also on Xara Users. My condolences to his beloved.

That is extremely sad news. John has been a member & excellent contributor to TalkGraphics over many years (and XaraUsers as Boy points out). My condolences to his family. Farewell John .
