    Default Emojis

What do you think about Apple planning to introduce new disabled emojis? I think it's a great idea to represent disabled people. You can see a guide dog and the dog on the bottom is a Service dog for those with hidden disabilities.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

I am not so sure about this. Usually Emojs are used to convey some type of emotion, like laughing or crying. What I we try to say with a wheel chair, hope you end up in one. Just not sure how to use these.

Personally, I think they should stick to the list that is officially part of Unicode 11. Perhaps they have submitted these, but some/most/all of them in this thread (I didn't look for every one) are not there in that form.

To be fair, emoji are the fastest growing segment of Unicode...other characters take much longer in the review/comment aspect of getting a unicode codepoint.

I understood emoticons when SMS was character count limited.
I can see how young nimble fingers could type such in quickly and "convey emotions".

Emoji might pretend to be a shorthand language and The Bible has been so treated but if you are hunting for a blob through 1,500 blobs then the speed and immediacy of the prose is destroyed.

Can anyone explain how to incorporate Emojis directly into a Xara design?
I have used this MS Word add-in: https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/mi...icrosoft-word/.

All seems a bit twee to me.

A little side information that this conversation:
Emoji version 11.0 came out in mid-2018...
There are a lot of new and cool emojis - but unfortunately not displayed correctly on some devices. Instead of the emojis then a black square can be seen - too bad

I can only agree with you. I also like the emojis how the ❤️ Red Heart emoji are especially well suited to flirt with someone. Especially for people who do not like writing so well or so well, such an emoji can say a lot.
