    I had a similar question too. The nav bars I was coming up with were not working in my frames page structure. What I finally did was to NOT create a "selected" state for the bar, only mouse off, mouse over and mouse down states. Then you will wind up with one, workable html page and a number of images to feed the one bar.

    This may not be what you want, but the selected states were causing me so much trouble it was worth dumping it. Try yours with only the 3 states and you'll see what I mean.

    It's really stunning how much response and helpfulness there is in this forum.

    Egg, your method is a very good idea, I think. Never seen that one before.
    And the cows are pretty!

    Albert, that's exactly what I was looking for. A pitty only, that this cannot
    be done in XaraX entirely, but you showed a way to do it. Thank you very much for taking
    the trouble to write,translate and post this super tutorial.
