Like Gary I really enjoy working in Prisma, an android app that can add great image effects. I attach one where the photo was run through Prisma and after had a Canvas photo filter added in Xara.
I'm really pleased with the result.

iPhone too. I just wish they had a Windows version like Waterlogue (another awesome app) does.

Fantastic image Gary. I create mine on my PC using BlueStacks which is a PC android emulator. Works very well.

I think I tried that but for some reason lost to short term memory it was too much hassle and I broomed it.
