Thread: Clipview Oddity

  1. #1

    Default Clipview Oddity

Lately I've been noticing that objects I've clipviewed to other objects get an outline applied to them. I'm attaching two pics to show what I mean. It's easily fixable by right clicking and selecting the object that has the outline added and then hit "no line" in the color selector, but next time I open the file, the line is back.

    Anyone else experience this?

Thanks, George. I sometimes doubt my own sanity.

By dissecting the file I see that there's a dark brown shape under the light one, but there's no outline so you might need to look into that. I have xara 2013 (8)

I looked at this a couple of times and cannot find anything, Do you have a the original file that does not have the text box showing the abnormality?
If so could you please submit that?
All I get now is what looks like a png showing the problem.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

its a rendering artifact Ron - all you need do to remove it is to move the object - I selected every thing and moved the drawing and the artifact disappeared

I think it is a consequence of the way in which you have put together the feathering/clipview/mould for the penclip and is a failing in the program

    hope that helps...

[I tested in ver 12 of designer pro]
